Rebecca is a member of the Institute Technical Board (ITB) of Makerere University Lung Institute. She has been involved in research on respiratory diseases in children for the past 12 years with specific focus on pneumonia and asthma.
She has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and has made several presentations at International and Local Scientific conferences on the above subjects. She is currently involved in research, clinical care and pre-service and in-service training of health care professionals.
