MLI Project Update: FRESHAIR4Life Empowering Adolescents
The FreshAir4Life Project is making significant strides in empowering young people by implementing evidence-based interventions aimed at reducing adolescents’ exposure to air pollution and tobacco. This project is an integral part of the Makerere University Lung Institute’s efforts to promote lung health and reduce respiratory illnesses, especially among vulnerable populations like teenagers.
By focusing on critical issues such as air quality and the harmful effects of tobacco, the project aims to create a healthier environment for the youth, enabling them to lead healthier lives. The project actively engages adolescents in taking control of their lung health and fostering positive behavioral changes.
