Dr. Mbabazi Margaret Sebbale, MBChB, MMED(RAD), Fellow (Thoracic Radiology), serves as a Consultant Radiologist and research fellow at the Makerere University Lung Institute. Concurrently, she holds the position of Head of the Diagnostics department at Jinja Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Mbabazi Margaret Sebbale is distinguished as the Head of Graduate Studies at ECUREI in Mengo-Hospital, Kampala. Her current focus involves spearheading a pilot study to determine the radiology-pathology correlation of lung cancer in Uganda, while also validating LUNG-RADS in a population endemic to tuberculosis. Her profound research interests extend to Lung cancer, Interstitial lung disease, Tuberculosis, and their intricate interactions within Uganda and other Low-Income Countries (LICs)
